We’re fortunate to have a stunning venue to hold wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions in Bath city centre.

While some couples hold their wedding service or ceremony at other venues in Bath before holding their wedding reception, we have some of Bath’s most beautiful and unique locations close by for wedding pictures between your ceremony and reception.

The front of Bath Function Rooms

Bath Function Rooms are directly above Green Park Brasserie, a stunning Bath stone building built in 1867. With a nod to earlier Georgian architecture, the main building is typically classic, symmetrical, boasting with decorative features from the 1800s. Previously a booking hall for the old ‘Bath Green Park’ railway station, the last train left in 1969 and the main building has been running as an independent restaurant and function venue by a local family since 1992.

Green Park Station boasts a high vaulted glass roof over a lively independent part of Bath city centre. Morning markets on weekends including the UK’s longest running Farmers’ Market pop up on Saturday mornings. This is a vibrant and atmospheric space under the Victorian beams and has been used by many wedding couples at Bath Function Rooms for their wedding pictures for its uniqueness and beautiful stone features.

Green Park (street)

60 second walk from Bath Function Rooms

Particularly impressive when the sun catches the Bath stone, this street is just a minute walk from Bath Function Rooms and is used by many wedding couples celebrating at Bath Function Rooms. A quiet street with beautiful Georgian buildings and a leafy backdrop this is one of our favourite streets in Bath.

Queen Square

5 minute walk from Bath Function Rooms or 2 minute drive

A brief walk from Bath Function Rooms takes you up to Queen Square, one of Bath’s most attractive squares. Used for events and local business socials and festivals Queen Square is bordered by four impressive rows of Georgian buildings, some clad in red and green ivy (depending on the time of year). This is a unique space in Bath city centre and just moments from our wedding venue here at Bath Function Rooms.

The Royal Crescent

15 minute walk from Bath Function Rooms or 3 minute drive

The Royal Crescent is one of Bath’s most loved architectural gems. Popular with tourists and locals alike, the recreational green space in front of the Georgian crescent is at its best in summer. With a wide pavement bowing along the front steps the houses of what is Georgian Bath at its finest, this is one of Bath’s most popular wedding picture locations.

If choosing to have wedding pictures at the Royal Crescent in Bath we’d recommend driving.

The Circus

12 minute walk from Bath Function Rooms or 2 minute drive

Another of Bath’s most revered architectural spaces, the Circus is a unique 360 degree Georgian masterclass. Popular with wedding couples celebrating across the Bath, wedding pictures are often taken in the middles of the Circus which has a cluster of trees offering beautifully composed wedding shots.

We recommend driving to the Circus from Bath Function Rooms.

Parade Gardens

10 minute walk from Bath Function Rooms or 5 minute drive

Most popular for summer wedding pictures the Parade Gardens in Bath are a very popular spot for locals and tourists making the most of Bath in the sunshine. With Bath Abbey, Orange Grove, the Weir and Pulteney Bridge framing many wedding shots, the gardens boast beautiful Bath stone and a band stand. The flower beds are full of colour in the spring and summer months adding great colour to pictures.

We recommend driving to Parade Gardens from Bath Function Rooms.
